Commission Structure |

Travel agencies make a commission on the travel products sold by their agents. The total commission amount is generally a minimum of 10% and up to 20% - depending upon the supplier. Once expenses have been deducted from the gross commission, the net commission is split as follows:
- 60% (you), 40% (Sapphire Cruises) - This is for agents with no travel experience. These agents have just signed up with CLIA and are working toward your Accredited Cruise Counsellor certification.
- 70% (you), 30% (Sapphire Cruises) - This is for agents who have achieved CLIA Accredited Cruise Counselor certification.
- 80% (you), 20% (Sapphire Cruises) - This is for agents who have achieved CLIA Master (or higher) Cruise Counselor certification.
We believe in the two-fold system of (1) hard work through sales and (2) hard work through personal experience and continuing education.
